The Tamil Nadu Cyber Crime Wing has arrested the alleged mastermind behind the leak and online circulation of Jananayagan, the unreleased film starring TVK founder and Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Vijay.

Police said the accused had been absconding and was secured following extensive digital forensic analysis, technical surveillance and intelligence-led operations.

Another accused linked to the piracy network was also arrested. With the latest arrests, the total number of people held in the case has risen to 19. Further investigation is under way.
