My boy turns 2 today.🥳

The day he was born, before my hebamme laid him on me, she asked one question: "are you ready?"

I didn't understand the question then.

Two years later I do. Ready for the sleepless nights. Ready for the responsibility. Ready for a love that never ends.

Living in Germany, my parents in India, my husband and I raising him together. Building a startup and raising a child at the same time, both of them growing, both of them needing me. Some days are wonderful. Some days I feel the pressure. Some days I doubt myself, am I a good parent, am I doing enough?

I still don't know if I was ever ready.

But every single day I show up, and I choose to be. For a lifetime.
