Japan just demonstrated how @Starlink can save lives during disasters 🇯🇵

Maizuru City simulated a landslide that blocked access to local homes. Firefighters flew a drone into an unsafe area, then used Starlink to stream live HD video and audio from an area with poor cellular coverage directly to the city’s disaster headquarters.

The live view helped officials assess the damage and make faster rescue decisions. The city now plans more Starlink drills for major blackouts and other disasters.
