Government subsidies drove up college tuition. Most people agree on that.
So why would vouchers and ESAs work differently for K-12?
Same structure. Third-party dollars flowing to private providers. Prices adjust to capture the funding. Regulations follow the money.
The exit from government education should not require a government check. Join the conversation and learn more: https://t.co/CVGIicqAb1
Harsh Truth:
School choice doesn't give you freedom. It gives the government a receipt.
The moment a dollar of public money touches your homeschool, you've traded sovereignty for a subsidy.
Tuition goes up. Freedom goes down.
Nobody on their deathbed said, "I wish I'd spent more time at the office impressing my boss."
But millions whispered, "I wish I'd spent more time with my kids."
The rat race promises everything and delivers nothing. Homeschooling promises nothing glamorous & delivers everything.
"This is why education independence matters. It’s not just about resisting government intrusion—it’s about embracing God-given responsibility. It’s about forming souls with the sobering understanding that they, too, will give an account. It’s about reclaiming the sacred duty of parents to educate their children not just in reading and math, but in righteousness, wisdom, and truth."
Education independence often begins with a realization of individual conviction. A family recognizes problems, counts the costs, and makes deliberate choices. Those moments matter. But how to we sustain this choice?

Education of the state & by the state might be a utopian dream; however, the results are far from heavenly:
🔺Lower literacy & test scores
🔺Compulsory tax-funding
🔺Gov-prescribed curriculum
🔺National testing
🔺Gov-run teacher certification
🔺Students tracked by aptitudes.

Will “School Choice” threaten the
monopoly of state education??
answer here: https://t.co/FNVsxPNoCt
Do the real math on that second income:
$50,000 salary
$18,000 taxes
$15,000 childcare
$8,000 commuting
$7,000 exhaustion spending
= $2,000 net gain
Someone's missing their kids' childhood for $8/day.
No matter if you plan heavily or go-with-the-flow, Education Independence wants to equip and inspire individuals, families, organizations, and churches to be leaders in educational freedom.
Rousseau said avoid "strict discipline and tiresome lessons."
Augustine said discipline is love made visible.
Classical education chose Augustine.
Public schools chose Rousseau.
One produces wisdom. The other produces chaos.

"Conservatives, when considering almost any other topic, recognize that a system rooted in Marxist wealth redistribution cannot be helpful or harmless. It will lead to increased taxes, fraud, and prices. Why should school choice be an exception?"

“Wrestling with truth promotes blessing and virtue for the whole community; therefore, we uphold that education, independent from the state, is the cornerstone of a flourishing society.”

We used to raise children who could run farms at 14 and start apprenticeships at 12.
Now we have 25-year-olds who can't change a tire but know 37 genders.
Compulsory schooling didn't make us smarter. It made us dependent.
