Suddenly, you're 27.
You make your coffee, rush to work, come home around 7, and you're too tired to do anything except eat, scroll on your phone, and pass out.
Then you wake up, and do it all again.
And when Friday comes, maybe you go out, or maybe you're just too tired. Then, out of nowhere, it hits you.
How did everything pass by so quickly?
You don't even feel 27.
You still feel like that 17 year old kid who thought they had all the time in the world.
But somehow, 10 years just disappeared. And you start missing the past. The feeling of being young, excited, and clueless.
But then you realize, one day, you'll miss this, too.
Being 25, being confused, being tired, but still trying.
So maybe the trick is to slow down a bit and actually live this chapter before it also becomes just another memory.
The point is no matter what age you are, you’ll miss these days. Life gets busy sometimes and it’s always a good time to stop and smell the roses.
We have over a million more houses than households, more houses per person than in the 70s yet prices are high than ever. Second home ownership has also increased by over 50% in the past decade. The problem isn’t bats or newts it’s greed.
Our latest research shows spot-on flea treatments on dogs are released into water when dogs swim even 28 days after treatment - in contrast to the label which suggests dogs can safely swim 48 h after treatment.

Bats and newts aren’t the problem ❌ we’re tired of hearing the Chancellor pin the blame for slow development on wildlife! After promising to protect nature, UK Government is now doing the opposite. This has to stop. Take our simple action today 👇

It is against the law to disturb or destroy the nests of wild birds while it's in use or being built in the UK.
This is enshrined in the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981. The law aims to protect wild birds during their breeding season.
66 horses have died at the Aintree Grand National Festival since 2000. Think about that before you raise a glass or place a bet today @LeagueACS@AnimalAid#grandnational2025
KEEP DOGS ON A LEAD!
I don’t care how good your dog is at listening to commands, if you’re in a nature reserve, next to a duck pond, etc then it should be on a lead. The amount of times I’ve seen dogs chase a bird, deer, squirrel. Or the times when they run through a nest site and distress everything. Dogs attacking wildlife with owners present shouldn’t happen.
Once habitat is lost to development it’s lost forever. Some vague nature restoration fund that will surely end up in some very deep pockets will not change that.
We are deeply saddened to learn of the passing of The Vivienne. Her talent, humor, and dedication to the art of drag was an inspiration. She will be dearly missed, but her legacy will live on as a beacon of creativity and authenticity – she embodied what it means to be a true champion. Our hearts go out to her family and fans during this difficult time.
