A lot of us who come from township and rural areas, and later went to varsity and passed needed a lot of things working in our favour to get here. Like, it’s not even how smart you are. it’s intelligence being met by good fortune.
Posters in Phoenix.
The problem isn't with the "ad campaign". That's too generous.
The problem is also not with "whoever did these posters." That too is too generous.
The problem is the DA's political DNA.
These posters aren't a mistake. They REVEAL the DA.

You can live here but be quiet.
You can work here but not all of you.

Any murder is atrocious and tragic.
There were 59/ 21 325 murders on farms across South Africa last year.
There were 3975/ 21 325 murders in the Western Cape in the last year.
I condemn all murders but why is the DA/ Afriforum only concerned about the 59 per year.

Verwoerd really did a number on us. Convinced us that being less than White, but more than Black was okay. That mentality remains in many Coloured communities today. What Gatvol doesn't get, is that their plight, is the plight of Black communities country-wide. Coloured=Black.
@gavdavis@palesa_morudu This tweet I remember very well. It was a matter of time till the DA proved me right Sir. With all these diverse leaders you mentioned your Provincial premier, parliamentary leader, chief whip & new FedEx chair are all representing that diversity today? Stop lying to SA & urself
The main point that Gwen, Helen, and the IRR miss is that redress doesn't begin and end with building a house, bettering education, and creating employment. Apartheid also made it so that even if you are well educated, the system will still deny you the job you deserve ...
