@rapture_shan A very powerful moment for me. Even if you believe the holy text's prophecies, how are you OK with racist mentality? #revres

[Rapture Sprad @rapture_sprad]

Fave quote. Roommate overheard it while I was watching and even had to chime in with "whatttt??" #revres https://t.co/gOuwsG4n7Z

[Rosie Earley @Rosie_Earley]

"If the bible weren't true I don't think we'd even be creating jet engines" #what #revres

[Caitlyn Hendrickson @CaitlynnBeth]

When you sad that you'll never experience the rapture because @rwilliamsonjr teaching you critical biblical scholarship. #revres

[Rapture Sprad @rapture_sprad]

Have I been Left Behind? #revres

[Rapture Sprad @rapture_sprad]

Are lahaye/Jenkins covertly perpetuating bad gender roles from Revelation on bottom of pg. 37 with "false prophetess"? #revres

[Rapture Sprad @rapture_sprad]

I can't #revres

[Ty Spradley @tsprads]

Quite ironic that I have to keep selecting "trust" to re-join Hendrix wifi, when our spotty networks are the very root of my trust issues

[Rapture Sprad @rapture_sprad]

"God does not leave the world behind and neither can we." Great way to paraphrase his viewpoint👌🏼 #revres

[Rapture Sprad @rapture_sprad]

Maier gives really specific/restricted definition of "cognitive dissonance," more citing an example than defining term @CaitlynnBeth #revres

[Rapture Sprad @rapture_sprad]

Also love Maiers framing of his reading as a tool of recognizing your own location and reading of Rev #revres

[Rapture Sprad @rapture_sprad]

Agree wth Maier that there are social responsibilities associated with reading/preaching from Revelation! #revres

[Robert Williamson Jr @rwilliamsonjr]

Currently thinking C-. #revres https://t.co/XBjR6iQ0Ru

[Rapture Sprad @rapture_sprad]

@LaelaRevRes Describing heroin imagery in terms of images surrounding goddesses and then just being like "but she wasn't a goddess so" haha

[Rapture Sprad @rapture_sprad]

Also think she makes some large stretches interpretively like Pippen, but non-assimilation/commodification model is powerful #revres

[Rapture Sprad @rapture_sprad]

Would like to hear Huber actually address the crowds using apocalyptic vernacular to condemn queer people rather than wave at them #revres

[Rapture Sprad @rapture_sprad]

Obviously I agree with her overall message, but Pippens points on the heroin as an unfulfilled goddess seem vague or weak to me #revres

[Rapture Sprad @rapture_sprad]

@gracblac My question too! It's seems like it can be too subtle and people can misjudge or miss the message altogether. #revres

[Rapture Sprad @rapture_sprad]

We've said symbolism is important for general understanding through time, but is signifying too covert to send an active message? #revres
