On the 19th of July, I tried getting in touch with Ozzy to discuss a bug on the Pons website where deployers couldn't launch tokens because no one could upload their token images. Ozzy was dead responsive about fixing it. Mind you, it is worth highlighting that RTR6900 was not deployed by Ozzy, it is just a typical memecoin.

On the 20th of July, I sent a total of 3% of RTR6900 tokens to Ozzy's address. Not expecting the token to pump like mad, mind, but more out of respect for how responsive the Pons leader was, even to a total nobody like me.

Last night, Ozzy burned the tokens he had received from various devs and communities, but he is still holding on to RTR6900, whether he forgot or actually fancies the concept, who knows.

Right then, what is the actual concept behind this memecoin, anyway?

RTR stands for 'Return to Robinhood', meaning we view Robinhood as home after a load of trenchers took heavy losses on a memecoin depicting one of Base's top brass. After last night's carnage left many trenchers in the red, plenty are heading back home to Robinhood.

6900 comes from the SPX6900 concept. If you know SPX6900, it carries an anti stock market narrative. That is the exact vibe we took for RTR6900, given Robinhood is proper rammed with dividend stocks everywhere you look.

Bit of a shame we failed to bond a while back, but I reckon this narrative makes total sense for building a unique cult, just like SPX6900 on ETH, SOL, and Base.

There is still plenty lined up for RTR6900, ranging from an arcade game to maybe some free PFPs later down the line that the community can use and manually customise attribute by attribute. It is no fancy tech like what some other developers are building, mostly because we are proper terrified of making a massive mess with all the recent hacks about. So, we just plan to have a laugh, build a cult, and welcome everyone back to Robinhood.
