@wanli_w Audience is super important in my opinion! With a certain audience in mind when writing or creating content, your content becomes that much more focused and it's much easier to follow key points and ideas! #engl318mu
@maddiefmu That's great! I still need to work on shortening my writing in the future. But being able to narrow down and focus your writing on important and key ideas is very important! #engl318mu
@Katelin_McD I think relating user experience to audience is a very good point! A good user experience goes beyond navigation and accessibility; in order to make an experience good, you have to consider your audience! #engl318mu
@tdono16 I agree completely! Now that I understand audience better, I can write my essays for certain audiences and people rather than with just my professor in mind. #engl318mu
There are so many ideas I've taken away from this class that I don't think I can put them all in one Tweet! I think what I'm really going to focus on in the future is audience; knowing who I'm writing for will help me shape my ideas and what main points to focus on! #engl318mu
Purpose is very important! Without it, I think it's more difficult to drive home ideas to one central point. Purpose is what ties all analysis and information together into a neat bow; it lets the audience know why you're analyzing data and what meaning it has. #engl318mu
While both need to be accessible to be successful websites, both are obviously designed and organized differently to cater to their specific audiences. #engl318mu
I've always thought of user experience as accessibility, but I realize it's more than that. User experience takes into consideration every aspect of their audience to make appropriate content; a corporate site vs. a kid's site, for example. #engl318mu
Audience is a very big topic and definitely something I'll consider more in future assignments! When writing for and focusing on a specific audience, the meaning and ideas of your writing become much more meaningful and impactful. #engl318mu
I think my walls of text and information come from meeting word counts in other classes - that's another reason why I loved how this course was very flexible! It really drives home the importance of key concepts. #engl318mu
I really enjoy classes like these where we can be very liberal with our writing and aren't confined to any particular structure. Unfortunately, my writing style is still lengthy, but our final project helped me begin to narrow down my info to what's most important. #engl318mu
@WillEichorst I think it looks good! If the points you're covering are the things listed in the thumbnail, then I think everything is explained. That's also a very creative and fitting cover! #engl318mu
@alyssamancusoPR I correlate the rankings with each news outlet's number of likes and followers. It might help to switch the positions of the BBC and NYT rankings. I would expect to see gold on top, then silver and bronze. I think it's an interesting way to convey this meaning! #engl318mu
@WillEichorst I think that it looks really good! Both the pose and the title are eye-catching and interesting enough to get someone to click on the video - if that's what you're going for, I assume. #engl318mu
@jurgensen_matt I've also been using PowerPoint for my project, but I love how unique your project is turning out! It's so interesting to see everyone's approaches to the assignment and how different they all are. #engl318mu
@DavidWaskiewic1 I agree with Zander - using images is a great way to convey meaning, especially when they're visually attractive and eye-catching. I do like your use of blocks! It's a nice break from bullet points, but conveys a similar meaning. #engl318mu
@hrkauff1 The fact that you focused on parallel development works really well here! As others mentioned, your ideas and goals are clearly listed and explained for your audience. #engl318mu
I've been sticking to a rather simple design throughout my analysis so that the most important part is the information, itself. I feel like it might be a bit lacking, however; does the simple approach work or does anyone have suggestions of design ideas I could add? #engl318mu
