Inaugural world AI collaboration organisation’s 29 member states initiated by China.
Mostly poor countries but do not dismiss this union.
Massive population.
Rich in energy.
Rich in data.
Desperate not to be left behind in the global AI transformation.
The integration of physical AI with physical capabilities, scale manufacturing , and price: China ahead. The race for adding knowledge remains and is unknown, likely China and the US are on par or near par.

"As the race to AGI intensifies, the national security state will get involved. The USG will wake from its slumber, and by 27/28 we’ll get some form of government AGI project. No startup can handle superintelligence. Somewhere in a SCIF, the endgame will be on."

Struggling with reality. We adopt true industrial policy to restore domestic manufacturing profitability, capital availability, and talent rewards or we lose.
The bells are ringing, do we hear them?

Mercedes CLA hybrid will come with a Chinese engine.
This is how much the table have turned on the industrial front, China is accelerating our dominance in every sector, even the company that invented automobiles have to rely on the Chinese supply chain.

My favorite moment from the entire URKL Robot Fight!
One brutal kick sent the robot's head hanging loose. and it somehow kept fighting like nothing happened!
I completely lost it. Had to lower down the volume of my laugh 😂😂
Today, we’re announcing that we’ve raised $115 million in funding, including a $100M Series A led by @kleinerperkins.
America has lost the ability to build, and we’re here to restore it. My co-founder, @NoahMcGuinn, and I left our jobs at @SpaceX , where we worked on programs including Starship, Starshield, and @Starlink, to build a company that will solve construction’s greatest challenges.
Infrastructure is the foundation of civilization, and construction is the precursor to innovation. If America wants to build a brighter future for the next generation, we have to make it faster, cheaper, and safer to build.
That’s where @TerraFirma_Inc comes in. We’re a new type of company, a robotic construction company that builds the full technology stack needed to deliver an order-of-magnitude improvement in one of the world’s oldest, largest, most important, but least efficient industries.
We are building technology that expands what’s possible in construction on Earth, and then we'll use that same technology to build megastructures and colonies on the Moon and Mars.
We’ve made tremendous progress over the past year, growing the company more than 10x in the last 12 months. We are performing projects across the world. By the end of October 2026, we are on track to operate 3 of the top 3 largest robotic construction fleets in the world, each on a different continent, bringing unprecedented speed, scale, and efficiency to some of the world’s most complex critical infrastructure projects.
This funding will allow us to step on the gas and scale our manufacturing, software, operations, and construction deployments, including work on massive commercial and government contracts.
We’re building the future of construction right here in Austin, Texas, and scaling it globally. If you want to be part of the team changing the world, now and on Mars, join us.
Our Series A was led by Kleiner Perkins, with participation from Bain Capital Ventures, Glade Brook Capital Partners, BANNER VC, Saga Ventures, Trust Ventures, Definition, PEAK6, Magnetar Capital, and Ravelin Capital. Huge thanks to all of our angel investors, friends, and family who have helped and supported us throughout this journey.

The claim that China wants to steal technology from the USA misses a very important reality.
US technology has been almost entirely surpassed.
There's no need steal futuristic technology from a museum of 20th century artifacts.
It’s not too late to reshore and restore US domestic manufacturing. It takes desire and determination by Congress and the Administration to improve its profitability, capital availability, and attractiveness to talent.
Yes, many Chinese factories still rely on tons of industrial robots and high-end CNC machines from Japan and Europe.
If you look closely, you can spot the Fanuc, ABB, Yaskawa etc. label. Like in this Xinhua photo from Xiaomi’s super high-tech EV factory.
@agent_of_change@grok is this true? What company bought it? What does it produce today and how much? Who are its customers? From where does it buy polysilicon?
China exported 10.377 million robots across separately listed categories in the first five months of 2026, with a total export value of nearly 20 billion yuan (about $2.98 billion), according to customs data. The products were shipped to more than 150 countries and regions worldwide, with the EU and ASEAN emerging as the primary destinations.
A total of 22 made-in-China electric double-decker buses were shipped on Sunday from Yantai Port in east China’s Shandong Province to the United Kingdom. The buses will subsequently be put into service in London's public transport system.
