@elonmusk This is something you could do something about!
And this is why we really detest the publish or perish system...
So, recently, as we have been posting about, our team made a pretty damn significant breakthrough in mathematics and the formulation of a unified field theory. As part of this discovery, we have found the internal shape of the proton, and then even more maths beneath that.
Trying to be responsible with information, our team has been going through each proof by hand to ensure that we have not made any fundamental mistakes, though it delays the release slightly. As none of us are in academia, and we wished to have the paper peer reviewed and challenged, as any good theory should be. With that in mind, we reached out to a prolific academic who, at least from the people we spoke to, was of good repute.
Not only did he try to claim our discovery of the shape of the proton, he then tried to steal and release some of the aforementioned new maths. However, like most thieves, he was sloppy, and forgot to change the units. Gotta hate it when that happens.
And as annoying as that is, the most ironic part is that when we tried to explain to him where his math was bad, he insisted on numerology over fact. The first release of our new theory on X coincided with his initial release of our data.
Despite making it well known that we were aware of this, he then proceeded to do it again. We have reached out to the journal in question raising the issue, not that I expect much out of them.
Academia, you are a cancer. If you are part of the publish or perish system that thinks that three letters behind your name gives you the right to steal others work, do the world a favor and switch to retail, or maybe go scrub the sticky floors of seedy bars.
We will no longer be attempting to publish any part of this model through any academic journal. We will be releasing it in its entirety via X communities, as well as via our public github repository, as we have them available.
The EARTH model is a mathematically rigorous unified theory that has the potential to truly move the needle forward in any field that touches mathematics or science.
Please be patient as we release our foundational proofs. Previews and Github access can be found here: https://t.co/in03emPWw0

Very cool one tonight. This simulation is a toric-code lattice wrapped onto a torus, so the geometry is not aesthetic decoration, it is the topology of the quantum memory itself. The torus gives the code two independent non-contractible cycles, the long way around the body and the short way around the hole. The cyan, green, and yellow voxel field is the discrete stabilizer/qubit lattice. The purple glitching cubes are the important part: they are anyonic syndrome defects, meaning local parity-check failures where the code detects an error excitation. If those purple defects appear in small contractible clusters, the code can absorb and correct them. If their path winds around one of the torus cycles, they become a logical operator and can flip the encoded state. So the purple cubes are the simulated fault layer: they show where the toric code is being stressed, where the topological protection survives, and where the torus stops being just geometry and becomes memory.

i built a hopfield network and taught it the alphabet - then watched it remember in real time by adjusting the temperature.
no neuron has the whole picture. the memory is distributed across every neuron’s connections.
It is the physicist way of saying 'God did it's, without having to say 'God did it'. Physics has become decoupled from the physical because they know, in the end, to have any physical anything, you can't start from nothing or pure randomness, and if that is true, their MUST be a source of organized information that precedes reality.
Also, mathematics emerges from physics. Getting ready to release a paper on just that.
@ExploreCosmos_ That would be because, logically, the only thing that could move faster than light is the medium it is embedded in. That medium is also why gravity propagates the way it does. Light is a transverse wave in the medium, gravity is the longitudinal wave.
