@akoslows88 First-run syndication simply means that a show was produced to run in syndication, i.e., not ordered for a specific network. You can contrast that with network series that were later sold to run in syndication after their original runs.
@AnneErickson I saw Greensky Bluegrass at dive bars Green's in Battle Creek and The Barking Frog in Augusta. The latter ended up being my mom and me and maybe a couple other patrons that night. Considering where that band can sell now, I was quite lucky.
We all know Rachael Lillis from the many wonderful roles she played. She filled our Saturday mornings and before/after school hours with her beautiful voice, her terrific comic timing, and her remarkable acting skills. #RachaelLillis
@jenniferquail I always presume a soccer clue is one of those pitched by @embassydavies to keep his writing credit, although it's also a little weird production thought to air it on the anniversary of the subject's death.
This is basically my opinion on the decision. Absent an actual record that Trump engaged in insurrection, he can't be declared ineligible based on that clause, because he's not been tried on such a charge with rules of evidence, etc.
The opinion of the Colorado Supreme Court is shameful and runs completely counter to our constitutional system.
Donald Trump was not removed from office by Congress for engaging in insurrection.
Donald Trump has not been criminally convicted in a court of law of engaging in insurrection.
Whatever you believe about whether Donald Trump engaged in insurrection has no bearing on whether he’s eligible to run for president.
No legislative, executive, or judicial body of a state should engage in extraconstitutional decision-making to disqualify a federal candidate from the ballot.
This isn’t accountability; it’s an assault on due process of law. It undermines our electoral system and threatens every federal candidate for office.
