The LDF government in Kerala, led by CPI(M), has hit rock bottom by platforming accused serial offender Hirandas Murali aka Vedan at the Bekal International Beach Festival – a taxpayer-funded tourism event organized under the state's Tourism Department and Bekal Resorts Development Corporation.

This is the same Vedan facing serious rape allegations from a young doctor (repeated sexual assault on false marriage promise from 2021-2023), plus additional complaints from at least two more women emerging in 2025, a ganja possession case, and past MeToo accusations. Chargesheets have been filed, police arrested him (though on anticipatory bail), and yet CPI(M) leaders and local municipality chairperson proudly pose for photos with him, grinning like it's an honor!

What message does this send? That women's safety doesn't matter? That allegations of sexual violence are trivial if you're a "youth icon" with leftist leanings? The festival turned chaotic – massive crowd rush injuring dozens including children, even leading to tragedies – but the real shame is inviting a controversy-magnet like Vedan despite nationwide outrage.

Pinarayi Vijayan's government preaches morality but protects and promotes accused predators on public stages. Kanhangad Municipal chairman VV Rameshan,A.A Raheem(MP)and organizers owe an apology to victims and the people of Kerala. This is not progressive politics – it's patriarchal hypocrisy and utter shamelessness!

A school play INSULTING Ramayana & Mahabharata gets FIRST PRIZE.

At Malappuram District Kalolsavam, a play called “Veerannattyam” was awarded the top spot for mocking Hindu history and culture.

The script claims that Ramayana and Mahabharata portray women as slaves, and even shows Lakshmana as a “male chauvinist”, shouted at with vulgar language.
And the director? Of course… a “Peaceful.”

But here’s the real shock In the same Kerala, a few years ago, Professor Joseph’s hand was CHOPPED OFF for a question paper that allegedly “hurt religious sentiments.”
A teacher lost his hand.
But insulting Hindu epics gets a trophy.

No media outrage.
No intellectual protests.
Only silence… except Janam TV.

Now imagine a school play insulting the Quran or the Bible. The entire national media would explode with debates on “intolerance” and “threats to secularism.”
