@jimmybagels306@TomLoft1991 Agreed on the crowd but the fitness thing is mad. You’ve had the vice captain come out two weeks ago saying none of them wanted to play football in preseason. Of course they’re not fit.
Does it really matter if the Liverpool manager lives on Merseyside? Probably not, but the optics aren’t great, especially when things start to go wrong.
For @FourFourTwo on Slot's dismissal and why perception plays a bigger role for a Liverpool manager.

@mattladson@liverpxxl9 Input yes but you’re acting like it was all him. I don’t think for example, that he didn’t want another forward given one is leaving and we’re linked with 2. Same with defenders, we know he wanted one because it fell through. You can think he’s been poor but let’s not spin it all
@LFCZA missing the part where they both were injured for large chunks there. Ekitike finished on 17, he'd have done it without injury. Season was shite, but context is important
@LFCZA Honestly, you lot need to stop like. Fella convinced Wirtz and Isak. Hes had a bad season, I’d probably change the manager myself but stop acting like he’s inept at every aspect of the job.
I’m 55 years old. I’ve seen sensational Liverpool teams and bang average ones, but I have to say this is the most concerned I’ve ever been about the future of my club
@TeleFootball@LFC92 This is such nonsense, which completely ignores Slot lost 20 games this season, playing arguably the worst brand of football ever seen from a Liverpool side.
That's why he has suffered such "opprobium", it's not exactly rocket science 👍
@PaulHudson88556@ptgorst You’ve literally got lads telling you it affected them, and still affects them. But no Paul from twitter reckons he knows it’s the coach, the coach that won the league last year.
@mattladson@elite_balltakes I’m not saying the manager isn’t to blame for a lot of this season, but this is too simplistic. Manager hasn’t made him miss chances or kick the ball into full backs legs at every opportunity this year.
@SiClancy@Ian_Ladyman_DM It’s putting fuel on a fire that’s not needed. Doesn’t help anyone in anyway. By all means bring this up with people at the club but putting it on social media is entirely self serving. Salah good. Club/manager bad.
