Better still AI, it can fly planes so getting a train on a fixed track between two points won't be hard.

Conveniently after a bank holiday, give themselves a nice long break to plan their next vacation with their bloated salaries.

You can train someone new to drive a train (in fact AI could do it easily) and gradually lay off and replace the dickheads exploiting their status.

@kentman43 @ASLEFunion @MickWhelanASLEF I've already got a job that I'm thankful for and respect the customers that effectively pay my salary by trying to do that job well instead of holding them hostage and taking the piss out of them. New drivers drive the trains, not a difficult concept to grasp.

@TLRailUK eg you just stranded probably 100 people on a train to 3 Bridges because the driver couldn't be arsed announcing that he was only going to open the front set of doors at a station when a last minute platform change put us all at the back of the train.

@TLRailUK perhaps if your staff spent less time striking and more time doing their job and remembering who pays their wages instead of giving us attitude there would be an overall improvement to the shambolic service we get.
