Over the last month, many of us have noticed accounts with no prior history suddenly pushing pro-@blueorigin / pro-@relativityspace content and slamming @RocketLab with vague, unsubstantiated posts using similar language. I am NOT accusing these companies of anything. I have no evidence they’re involved, and I’m not suggesting that they are. This is about whoever is actually running these accounts, and I’m tagging directly so this reaches the accounts posting this content.

Let’s start to keep track.

I encourage you to not reply or quote these posts. Engagement boosts their reach in the algorithm.

I also encourage you to note the post and profile, account creation date, follower/following counts, and posting pattern. Let’s compare notes to establish whether this is coordinated.

Rocket Lab is the only publicly traded company in this “rivalry”. Coordinated or misleading activity aimed at a public stock is a different category than fanboy noise. This has been exposed before: the NYT’s 2018 “Follower Factory” investigation, the SEC’s 2022 case against social-media stock manipulation schemes that were meant to “short and distort”. If a real pattern emerges, we can bring it to journalists covering the space sector.

Free speech, contrarian takes, and public discord around our favorite space companies are always welcome. But the timing here seems suspicious.

It’s in our best interest to keep an eye out.

@RoseOfEden @Teoyaomiquu Nope, I see corruption as treason. You steal from the people who die for their country. You steal lives and time, not just money. Corruption literally kills, especially now in Ukraine. Also Ukraine as corrupt as it is has zero chance to join EU. So not quite moot.

@AleksejCernavs3 To not be able to see how big is your corruption in a period of war, is shocking. To not appreciate Europe for pumping hundreds of billions of dollars though your state and army are so corrupt is also surprising.

@pictureladyjan @AleksejCernavs3 Ukraine is so far from perfect on corruption. Last years they dissmanteled the anticorruption prosecturos. This year they demolished the whole government to get rid of the minister looking into aquisitions. Your state is deeply corrupt.

But what I'm saying is that comparing an oppressive regime that killed or hurt many people for their origin, intellect, political view is not the same with canceling cheaters. China already has this system of surveillance and soon we'll be fucked too
