🚨 180 House Officers at Abbasi Shaheed Hospital, including 70% women doctors, are pleading for help.

We are working 30+ hour shifts, three times a week, yet many of us are not being paid according to the government-approved stipend of Rs69,600. Instead, our offer letters mention only Rs45,000.

In June alone, we faced multiple mob attacks in the Emergency Department. Security personnel and staff often leave first, forcing young doctors, especially female house officers, to face violent mobs alone. We have heard gunfire outside the Emergency and genuinely fear for our lives.

Today, while peacefully protesting for our rights, some hospital staff allegedly harassed us, pulled our dupattas and used abusive language.

We have video evidence and official documents to support our claims.

We are not asking for privileges. We are asking for:
✅ Safety at work
✅ Protection from harassment
✅ Payment of our lawful stipend
✅ Dignity and respect for young doctors serving patients day and night

We are only a few months into our careers and already feel abandoned by the very system we serve.

We urge the authorities, fellow doctors, journalists and civil society to help amplify our voices and ensure justice.

سرکاری ٹٹی خانے کا مالک !

واش روم کا تنازع ہمارے معاشرے کی اصل تصویر ہے۔ ہر کوئی رعونت اور غرور سے بھرا ہوا ہے۔ ایک افسر نے سرکاری دفتر میں واش روم ہی اپنا پرسنل رکھا ہوا ہے اور اگر کوئی استعمال کر لے تو اسے دفتر سے ہی نکال دیا جاتا ہے یعنی یہ بیوروکریسی ہے اور یہ پولیس ہے۔ اس نے خاک عوام کو اپنا سمجھنا ہے۔ دوسری طرف واش روم استعمال نہ کرنے دینے کے “جرم” پر افسر ہی ضلع بدر ہو جاتا ہے ( شاید یہ سرعام بے عزتی کی سزا ہے) مگر یہی مزا ہے کہ وہ دوسری جگہ افسر لگ جاتا ہے اور اب وہ وہاں کے ٹٹی خانے کا بھی ذاتی مالک ہو گا اور اگر اس دوران مر گیا تو وہ ٹٹی خانہ اس کی قبر میں رکھ دیا جائے گا۔

افسران اور سیاستدانوں کی یہی فرعونیت عوام کے مزاج میں ہے۔ سڑک پر کوئی سگنل کی پابندی کا خیال نہیں کرتا کیونکہ سڑک اس کے باپ کی ذاتی جاگیر ہے۔ اگر اس پر چالان ہو جائے تو ریاست کو گالیاں ہیں اور وہ فورا غریب اور مظلوم بن جاتا ہے۔ سوشل میڈیا پر دیکھ لیجئے، آپ کی رائے سے مختلف تحریر کہیں نظر آ جائے فورا بد کلامی، فورا گالی۔ گویا ہر تحریر لکھنے والا آپ کی رائے اور خیالات کا غلام ہے۔ آپ اس سے رائے کا اختلاف نہیں کرتے اس پر فتوی تھوپتے ہیں۔

میں سوچ رہا ہوں کہ ایم پی اے کے بیٹے کو دفع ہونے کا کہہ دیا اور اگر یہ ہمت جرات یا غلطی کوئی غریب سائل کر لیتا تو اس کو تو یہ صاحب تھانے میں الٹا لٹکاؤ دیتے کہ میری ہگنے کی مقدس جگہ پلید کر دی۔ سی سی ڈی سے مقابلہ ہی کروا دیتے۔ مجھے حیرت ہوتی ہے کہ پولیس اور ضلعی انتظامیہ میں یہ ہمارے ہی بچے ہوتے ہیں جو بڑی تعداد میں سی ایس ایس کر کے جاتے ہیں۔ ان کا مطالعہ وسیع ہوتا ہے کہ انگریزی کتابیں بھی گھول رکھی ہوتی ہیں تو پھر یہ سال دو سال میں ہی فرعون کیسے بن جاتے ہیں؟ کیا ان کی ٹریننگ میں خامی ہے یا مسئلہ کچھ اور ہے۔ دنیا بھر میں یہ بیوروکریسی پچھلی صدی سے ہی متروک ہو چکی۔ انہیں پبلک سرونٹ ڈیکلئیر کیا جا چکا مگر یہاں یہ حاکم ہیں۔

ہم ایک دوسرے کو برداشت کرنے کے لئے تیار ہی نہیں ہیں۔ بھائی اگر یہی روئیے رکھنے ہیں تو دفتر اپنے باپ کے پیسوں سے بنوا لو اور وہاں نو اینٹری کا بورڈ لگا دو۔ سڑک پر دوسروں کو گزرنے کا حق تسلیم نہیں کرنا تو سڑکیں بھی اپنی زمینوں پر بنوا لو اور اگر سوشل میڈیا پر دوسرے کی رائے کا احترام ہی نہیں کرنا تو اپنی فیس بک اور ٹوئیٹر ایجاد کر لو۔ اپنا واٹس ایپ گروپ بنا لو جہاں سب تمہارے ہم خیال ہوں اور اختلاف کرے اسے کرپٹ قرار دے کر نکال دو۔

دنیا میں رہنا ہے تو شئیرنگ تو کرنی ہی پڑے گی پرائیویسی کا حق گھر تک محدود ہے اور یہی دنیا بھر کا مسلمہ اصول ہے۔

Following intensive talks, we are pleased to announce that the Peace Deal between the United States of America and Islamic Republic of Iran has been REACHED. Both sides have declared the immediate and permanent termination of military operations on all fronts, including in Lebanon.

The official signing ceremony will be on Friday, 19 June in Switzerland.

We would like to thank the United States of America and the Islamic Republic of Iran for their commitment to finding a diplomatic solution to the conflict. We would also like to extend our sincere appreciation to our brothers in this mediation effort, the great leadership of State of Qatar, for their support in reaching this agreement. I would also especially thank the visionary leadership of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Republic of Türkiye for their immense contributions in this regard.

With the agreement now in place, mediators will facilitate a series of meetings this week. These pre-implementation discussions will lay the foundation for the technical talks and the official signing ceremony.
