My fellow @Cloudreach leaders and I pulled together a list of must-reads on #innovation, #cloud & #leadership.
My picks:
1. 'The Big Switch' by Nicolas Carr @roughtype
2. 'The Unicorn Project' by @RealGeneKim.
What would you add? https://t.co/q1sblrNvmx
@EversourceCT My outage is a tree on a Main Street with east access that would restore 60 homes. Why are you showing pictures of hard to reach areas? Mine is 200 yards from the substation
@EversourceCT Speaking of apologies...now would be a good time to talk about refunds and credits for the impacted residents. You’ve clearly failed so stop publishing puff pieces and share details of how you’re $$ making this right.
@EversourceCT At this point we’re simply looking for an apology for this abject failure. Patting yourself on the back is not the way to go. 200K customers still without power and you’re PR department is publishing “look how great we are” stories. Sad.
@EversourceCT You are intentionally being deceitful using the term “Evaluating Outage” as this implies you are actually assessing the situation. There has not been one truck on our street since the storm. be honest. It should be “Pending Assessment” and admit abject failure. #eversourcefiasco
@EversourceCT Two days in and status is still “evaluating “? Seriously? Please stop patting yourself on the back and trying to spin your complete incompetence. Where did the $M of dollars for “hardening” go? #eversourcefiasco
@EversourceCT “If customers lose power today, please understand it may be a necessary step to safely make the repairs needed to restore service to many more impacted customers.” You’ve brought our community down for 24 hr now and there’s not a truck in sight. #eversourcefiasco
@MPetro90@EversourceCT@EversourceCT our entire community is still down without any explanation what you did 24 hours ago to knock 400+ people out? Still “evaluating “? Seriously? This is total incompetence
@EversourceCT where did the funding come from for your new (failed) $100M++ substation? You knocked 500+ families off the grid today and there’s no status? Seriously? This is a fiasco of enormous proportions. #eversourcefiasco
@EversourceCT it’s been 12 hours and you’re still not showing our outage on your “map”? Current update “situation being evaluated “ and you’re saying you’ve fixed 50% of the outage. #fakenews you added 50% today when you’re new $100M++ substation failed.
