@NESN Jay’s argument was that the umpire waved them off the field. He never indicated the run scored, or Jays given an opportunity to appeal. I’ve never seen that in 45+ years of watching baseball.

@JohnnyGiunta_ I guess I understand the rule. Guy scored before the out was made at first to complete the double play. Jays didn’t appeal at the time because they said they were issued off field by the umpire. I guess the umpire said he didn’t do it or he gave them enough time to appeal.

@Nyanasaur Anyone who’s ever played baseball , coached baseball, watched baseball should know that it is 100% the batter and the coaches responsibility do you know how many outs there are, not the scoreboard.

@BOS_TyMo @NESN Apparently, Jays needed to appeal at third and they didn’t. Their complaint was the ump waived them off the field before they had a chance to. I’ve been watching baseball for 45 years, never seen that.

@sophiebluejays @BeisbolKrish Follow the NHL model it works great, cap, Floor , max deals, team with the player can offer best contracts. Works great in the NHL. Players aren’t jumping from team to team as often.

@c4Bostonn MLBPA only cares about 25% of it’s members. The “ stars” to create unsustainable contracts and the young “ stars” getting paid early. Rest , not so much.
