@madison_healey We thought it was bad spring 2020, but really didn’t have anywhere near the COVID positivity of subsequent surges…this one especially. I feel your pain! Hope your colleagues understand your position. But keeping everyone apprised sure must be exhausting.
My 3 cents for #Match2022:
1. IMGs are needed & enrich.
2. #IMG does not sum up or define an applicant. They have different shades & stories. Ask about #distancetravelled
3. Prejudice & discrimination hurt. The blanket statement "our program does not take IMGs" will not age well.

I used to take offense when patients would say “stop asking these questions it’s all in my chart.”
Then one day I took this criticism to heart. Everything that has happened in the medical system IS in the chart.
Now I read the chart, out loud, and ask them if it sounds right.
