@NualaBishari@sfchronicle This happened to me for a few months and gradually faded. I feel like hangovers are still worse than they used to be but the immediate feeling terrible has stopped.
I want to read an article about little apples. Like why are nost grocery store apples too big and to buy snack-size apples I have to buy them prepackaged in a plastic bag? I love the little apples. Hate the bag.
@9mmsmg My heart breaks for you. Our healthcare system is already so biased against women and the elderly. Covid just gave them an excuse. My mother had a health emergency and survived but has not been the same and we’re still trying to deal with the hospital and doctors to understand.
Do any other 90’s kids say to themselves “well, this is a six-feet under moment” when you’re doing something mundane but dangerous/stupid like opening cereal with a knife instead of scissors?
@JaclynMcCosker Happened to me. Daughter brought it home from school. I’d been trying for weeks to get my kids the updated vaccine but couldn’t find any for under 12 year olds. I feel very angry. I tried so hard for so long.
I don’t post often but have learned so much here. It’s been a wonderful place to gather diverse perspectives and hear voices I wouldn’t elsewhere. I’m sad to see it go. I’m trying to make the move but am struggling to find your beautiful voices on other platforms. What a time.
@ameliarchaeo I have a daughter who’s into her. I don’t mind her. But it’s too much! And now I’m supposed to care about football too? I don’t. Make it stop.
@jrlsilverman@PPSConnect Long talk with one of my kids last night. This is definitely triggering bad memories and anxiety from when schools were closed due to covid. She is worried this is another case of being told schools will just be closed a few days and it turns into a year+. It’s heartbreaking.
