VIDEO | Hyderabad: Telangana Jagruthi President K. Kavitha (@RaoKavitha) demands a re-examination of the Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC) Group 1 Mains exam.
She says, “TGPSC is the lifeline for thousands of Telangana aspirants, many preparing for 8–9 years. Over 5 lakh wrote the prelims and 21,000 the mains for 510 posts—later increased by 66, leading to confusion. There were major discrepancies between prelims and mains hall tickets, and several technical issues throughout the process. Despite the case being sub judice, the CM has distributed jobs, disrespecting the court and undermining constitutional institutions. We demand the government cancel these appointments, reconduct the exam transparently, and ensure justice for the students. Telangana Jagruti stands firmly with them.”

The so-called press meet by Group-1 rankers parents is nothing but an emotional drama carefully staged by the @INCTelangana Government to cover up its failures. It is evident that this drama is being orchestrated to gain sympathy and divert attention from the irregularities already exposed by the Hon'ble Court.
The Court never insulted meritorious students; it only highlighted serious violations—biased centre allocation, lack of transparency, manipulation of rules, and procedural lapses. But here lies the biggest question: TGPSC has not even declared the final selected list—so how do these parents already claim their children are “selected”? This only raises further doubts about fairness and transparency.
We urge the parents: please do not allow yourselves to be used for political gain. Think of the 21,000 aspirants who worked equally hard and deserve a fair process. When Group-1 prelims were held three times due to paper leaks, some candidates cleared in the first two and failed in the third, while others failed earlier but qualified later. Whom do we blame in such cases? At that time, no parents held press meets, so where was this concern then? Truly talented aspirants can succeed again in a transparent Re-Mains. Justice must prevail, not political sympathy. The Congress Government cannot escape accountability by hiding behind parents’ emotions. The only way forward is to respect the judiciary and conduct re-mains immediately, without delay or manipulation.

We sincerely thank the Hon’ble Single Bench of the Telangana High Court for delivering a historic judgment on #Group-1, which stands as a tight slap on the face of #TGPSC for its utter failure in conducting the mains examination and the evaluation process. Aspirants went through severe mental trauma before the mains, repeatedly requesting the Government @TelanganaCMO to postpone the exam until court cases were cleared. Instead of listening, the Government used police force, lathi charges and false cases against aspirants, pushing them into mental torture. Even in such hopeless circumstances, aspirants wrote the exam under duress. Today, the Judiciary has restored faith by exposing the irregularities in Group-1 and giving justice to thousands of aspirants.
We also thank all political parties for standing with aspirants and raising their voice against these irregularities in Group-1. We request their continued support to ensure the immediate implementation of the High Court judgment, to pressurize this Government and TGPSC to conduct Re-Mains and to demand a judicial enquiry into the entire Group-1 scam. Our gratitude also goes to Telangana’s intellectuals, student organizations, community groups and social organizations who supported aspirants in this long fight for justice.
Now, we urge the present Government not to waste more time by approaching the Division Bench. The 220+ page judgment of the Single Bench has already highlighted TGPSC’s inefficiency, irregularities and lack of transparency in every page. We said it before the mains: 99% of aspirants wanted the exam only after court cases were resolved. You ignored us and forced us to write. Do not repeat the same mistake. Respect the court’s verdict, respect the struggle of aspirants and reconduct the mains exam immediately under judicial supervision.
Finally, we appeal to the people of Telangana — all political parties, intellectuals, students, farmers, community and social organizations — to stand united with Group-1 aspirants in this fight for a fair, transparent and credible recruitment system.
Jai Hind, Jai Telangana.

WHO IS REVANTH REDDY TO BULLDOZE & USURP THE ROLE OF TGPSC? @revanth_anumula
The Constitution of India mandates the Telangana State Public Service Commission (TGPSC) as an independent and autonomous constitutional body under Articles 315–320 of the Constitution. Its powers are insulated from political interference. @TelanganaCS@TelanganaCMO
Yet, Shri Revanth Reddy, as Chief Minister, is brazenly behaving as a DE FACTO CHAIRMAN of TGPSC, bulldozing its autonomy and dictating that it must challenge the Hon’ble High Court’s judgment on the Group-1 Examinations. @AspirantsTspsc
WHY UNCONSTITUTIONAL??
1. Constitutional Autonomy of TGPSC
•Article 315: Establishes TGPSC as an independent constitutional authority.
•Article 320(1): The Commission “shall conduct examinations for appointments to the services of the State.”
•Nowhere is the Chief Minister empowered to interfere. By doing so, he violates the separation of powers and undermines the sanctity of competitive exams.
2. Misuse of Rule 5 of Telangana Business Rules
•Rule 5(1): The Governor allots business of Government among Ministers on the advice of the Chief Minister.
•But TGPSC is not a Secretariat department. It is a constitutional body governed by Articles 315–320, not by Rule 5.
Hence, the CM bulldozing its decisions is illegal, unconstitutional, and void ab initio.
3.Defiance of Judicial Findings
•The Hon’ble High Court (09.09.2025) exposed shocking irregularities: evaluation anomalies, gender-biased centre allotment, double hall-ticketing, unqualified evaluators, and even identical marks for consecutive hall tickets.
•Instead of punishing allegedly complicit or corrupt successive Chairmen of TGPSC, and correcting these lapses, the Government is forcing #TGPSC to challenge the HC Order, shielding corruption instead of complying with the justice.
4.Complicity in Corruption Allegations
•Reports suggest Group-1 posts were sold for ₹3 crores each.
•By bulldozing TGPSC to challenge the HC Order, , the CM makes himself complicit in these allegations, rather than standing with lakhs of aspirants.
Humble Appeal to the Hon’ble Governor @tg_governor@Jishnu_Devvarma Ji..
Under Article 317 of the Constitution, the Hon’ble Governor has supervisory powers regarding Public Service Commission members.
We therefore urge:
https://t.co/zAlwWHAutH TGPSC to abide by the High Court judgment rather than colluding with the State Government.
2.Restore its autonomy by insulating it from political dictates.
https://t.co/8tRbm5xzqT a Judicial Commission of Inquiry to probe brazen irregularities and corruption in Group-1 exams and protect the students.

What bigger shame can there be? A 220+ page judgment of the Hon’ble Single Bench has ripped apart TGPSC on every single page, exposing its blunders in conducting the Group-1 mains and the evaluation process. Instead of accepting the truth and owning up to its incompetence, TGPSC now wants to run to the Division Bench with a review petition.
This move is nothing but a cruel joke on thousands of aspirants. It is clear that TGPSC is acting as a puppet of the Government, desperately trying to cover up its inefficiency and malpractice. But no matter how many petitions they file, the truth cannot be buried. Further delay will only invite more serious criticism from the Division Bench, just as the Single Bench had already done.
TGPSC has lost all credibility and integrity. This failed setup should be scrapped immediately and the responsibility of conducting Group-1 should be handed over to UPSC, which has the efficiency and independence that TGPSC has miserably failed to demonstrate.

@TeluguScribe@grok Is everything spoken by the CM true? Are the unemployed youth of Telangana protesting against the government to stop issuing job notifications? Are they not actually demanding new job notifications as per the job calendar?
Dear Shri @RahulGandhi Ji,
Welcome to Hyderabad! We, the aspirant community, invite you to visit Ashok Nagar, the hub for competitive exams, where you met us during the last assembly elections. We seek to review the promises made to us, as we feel betrayed by the @INCTelangana led by Shri Revanth Reddy ji. Despite our support, we now face oppression, with peaceful protests being met with violence, cases filed against us and the rule of reservation violated (GO29) in the #Group1 exam.
We urge you to hear our plight and review intelligence reports on the suppression of Group1 aspirants. We were forced to take the mains exam under distress, with our hopes dashed. Attached are details of the atrocities, including attacks on aspirants, even women, during peaceful demonstrations.
We sincerely request your presence in Ashok Nagar to address these issues. Otherwise, we will remember these atrocities forever.
