Male &Female Anna’s face off. She just sat quietly. Seemed he did all the talking, he finished sipping left. She started sipping after he left.

Little Lesser GoldFinch enjoyed a nice bath. Cleaned the bird bath last night so water very clean.

Female/immature male Anna’s first time visit observed to our feeder, hesitated on landing for sips. Cooler morning here, around 75deg F.

@cgwilson25 Thank you. We live in a condo complex suburban Las Vegas so no honey bee hives nearby that we know of. Not sure where the hive is but we do have pine and other trees on complex . Very hot this summer, as summer began, had one bee than by end of summer have a dozen bee’s.

Bees at bird bath. Would like to know what type. ⁦@cgwilson25⁩ may shed some light. Hummingbirds and Leaser Gold Finch family share the bird bath this hot summer.

@RachelCleves @renissance_1 We’ve added a bird bath/water. The evaporation cools the water 10deg or more as a fountain also.

Anna’s male guarding our hummingbird feeders and catching bugs occasionally. About 25ft from feeders and a great all direction view of all intruders! Have not seen any females or other males for a couple weeks at feeder.

Signs of spring. Male Anna’s first attempt about a minute of talking and flaring feathers. She was not impressed as yet and did not follow.
