62% of households have a printer at home based on a 2019 survey. Shouldn't we have something where where it's not so common place for someone to have the material knowledge to be able to make their own fraudulent plates?

This sums up my @Walmart and @walmarthelp experience this weekend. Found an item in-store that was cheaper on their app w/ W+ but instead of price matching and leaving w/ the item they'd rather pay someone to deliver it free to your house later.

@dickmasterson Should read up on this, I reference here from Harvard Law that its only trademark infringement if he's trying to teach ministers which he's not. Just because you use a term that is trademarked doesn't make it infringing. There has to be damages.

Court documents show @TheBPITU affiliated staff trolls International School of Ministry (@ISOM_org) into suing @EricDJuly over trademark infringement claims for his new comic named after the superhero Isom as @dickmasterson and @VitoComedy laugh.

@NguyeJaime@statesman Its meant to discourage people and communities from sending their problems to our backyard that way its easier to deal those remaining. Its more a symbolic deterrent and would push some of them to neighboring cities with friendlier rules for them easing the burdenon on the city.
@Michaeline86 @FerrariJonez@GregAbbott_TX People have to do what's best for their family. If what's best is finding a place more affordable then start by looking for work in the those areas. People do it all the time. They're not doing themselves or their families any favors by staying in a place where they can't prosper
@Michaeline86 @FerrariJonez@GregAbbott_TX That's because of inflation, covid disrupting supply chains worldwide and higher demand for housing in Austin. Min wage increase or local policies won't fix it till there's more competition in the market to drive supply cause wage increase means products cost more to sell.
@Michaeline86 @FerrariJonez@GregAbbott_TX Because I live in a house with a homeless camp literally two blocks away. Police are there on a regular basis and they defecate behind the neigborhood welcome sign which is backed by a neighbor. It's been there for years and it's a safety issue for my family yet its ignored.
@FerrariJonez @Michaeline86 @GregAbbott_TX More social services means more taxes and higher cost of living which means more homelessness. Nothing is free. There's no simple answer.
@FerrariJonez @Michaeline86 @GregAbbott_TX All those are linked to supply and demand problems. People are moving to Austin at rates that exceed Austin's ability to build more housing. The only way to fix this is for ppl to move to places with a lower cost of living.
@FerrariJonez @Michaeline86 @GregAbbott_TX The other reason the cost of living is so high is because the bigger the city, the more infrastructure and services are offered to sustain them. Arkansas cost of living is a fraction of Austin because of this very reason. Everything comes at a price.
@FerrariJonez @Michaeline86 @GregAbbott_TX Only because they had policies that promoted an environment that encouraged homeless people to congregate there. Then they just get shuffled round whenever it's convenient for the city image. Go to them to fix the problem, don't draw them here.

@NatashaD1atx@MayorAdler You can't stop progress because it's inconvenient. You don't bring down the quality of life for people already here by passing policies that incentiveses communities to pass their problems to us. Fix the problem by going to them, not by concentrating them in our backyards.
@MayorAdler All your policies have done is drawn more homeless from communities outside of Austin to our backyards. We don't have the luxury of living in a gated communities. Don't sacrifice Austin's life, culture and prosperity to make yourself feel good. Fix the problem by going to them.
