Super exciting news! We're coming back with App.js Conf this June!
It's a @reactnative & Expo-focused conference, where you can learn from the creators of those technologies and meet RN devs from all over the world. 🌏🤓
Read more in this thread & follow @appjsconf!
#reactnativenow #94 is out! @reactnative prepping docs for new architecture, the release of @expo 44 beta, #reactconf videos, how @Samsara managed to reduce their bugs by 93%, and some great posts by @swmansion on Gesture Handler 2.0 and #expo services!

The thing I like about @expo is it makes it possible for people who can’t afford a MacBook or an iPhone to write their first app and have it be used by all their friends. Lowering the barriers to having fun writing software with friends is one of the things that inspires me.
At @swmansion we often do performance audits of React Native apps. While a lot of people expect performance issues to be rooted in React vs native views integration, to the contrary, in majority of the cases the problems are only on the React side. 🧵
🚨 New library alert 🚨 Today we are releasing react-freeze ❄️ https://t.co/SONLm48MtL – an experimental library that freezes renders for inactive/invisible React component hierarchies. It integrates with @reactnavigation but can also be used on web 👉 https://t.co/F4vHOxLJgX
📢 I'm looking for companies willing to sponsor VisionCamera.
VisionCamera is a library I created and constantly improve in my free time.
It's a huge library containing more than 15 thousand lines of JS, TS, Swift, ObjC, Java, Kotlin and C++ code.
Please RT for visibility 🙏
Allright folks, it took a lot of time and effort but we're out: https://t.co/HKtsav7MXB
#reactnative 0.65 is now ready for use, I hope you'll enjoy the improvements that it brings! And I hope that the upgrade experience will be good - the upgrade helper diff looks promising 🤞
