I feel that I need to say this! I have been a Loyal MAGA Trump Republican. I have agreed with most everything, but I can Not agree with Both parties allowing poor people, disabled, elderly, and children to go hungry while they resolve the issues of the Government shutdown!

If people from Both parties truly cared about the poor, they would make sure that they did everything that they could to fight to make certain that people have food! People should Not be having to go without food during a government shutdown! They are Not pawns! It makes BOTH parties look bad!

I also Do Not and have never agreed with the opinion that people needing to use food stamps are all "lazy" "freeloaders" !! Are there people who abuse the system? Yes! You bet that there are! But there are also people who are disabled, elderly, and children who are truly Not able to work!!

I also am saddened and disappointed and can not understand why our President is going to court to fight 42 million people, again including the disabled, elderly, and children who may be starving, getting SNAP food stamps so that they can buy food to eat, and especially during Thanksgiving month?!

Do I think that the Republicans should give into the absurd demands of the Democrats? No! Absolutely Not!! But poor people should not have to starve while the Government Shutdown gets resolved either!! People having food during a Government shutdown should Always be a priority!!

I can tell you that the optics don't look good for Both parties right now for the mid-term elections! It is making Both parties look bad!!

I think that Not paying Congressmen and Senators is a Great idea! Maybe that would motivate them to resolve these issues!!

I also agree with President Trump on using the "Nuclear Option" and ending the Filibuster!! You had better believe the moment Democrats have the chance to they will do it!! We need to do it first!!

Also as completely polarized as we are in America, the Filibuster no longer works!! We are going to run into more frequent Government shutdowns as it's incredibly hard to get enough Democrats to agree to vote with Republicans and to get anything done! A simple majority should be enough!!The Filibuster no longer works!! Use the Nuclear Option Now!!

We need to get the Government Shutdown Resolved Now!! Poor people should not have to starve!!
