I understand a lot of her fans dislike Caitlin Clark, but the elevation of Angel does not affect Caitlin Clark. It affects the other front court players who quite frankly deserve more accolades than they get. While these statistics are obviously short term, I think they speak a lot to who is valuable and who is not so much. Both Angel Reese and Caitlin Clark were drafted and started playing in 2024. In 2023 Indianapolis had a winning percentage of 325. Caitlin Clark was drafted and began playing in 2024. That year the winning percentage of Indianapolis was 500. They got better. In 2025 the winning percentage was 545. They got better again. In 2026 so far this year, the winning percentage is 630. Better again. Now let's look at Angel Reese. In 2023 ,Chicago's winning percentage was 450. They drafted Angel Reese and in 2024 their winning percentage was 325. They got worse. In 2025 their winning percentage was 227. They got worse again. Chicago traded Angel Reese and funny enough. They're winning percentage this year is 346. They got better after they traded her away. In 2025 Atlanta's winning percentage was 682. They traded for Angel Reese and this year so far their winning percentage is 615. Worse! For their first three years in the week, Caitlin Clark has improved her team every year and Angel Reese has done the opposite. I would love to hear your thoughts.

Who specifically was he accusing?

What evidence does he have?

Was this activity directed or authorized by the Israeli government?

Why make the allegation publicly if he cannot substantiate it publicly?

And what does this rhetoric reveal about his broader understanding of alliances, state power, and American foreign policy?

You can defend Vance’s position. You can argue that Israel deserves criticism. You can even argue that the alliance should be reconsidered. But first you have to address what he actually said.

Reducing every substantive concern to “you called him anti-Israel” is not an argument. It is a deflection. And this endless cycle of accusation, strawman, and mockery is precisely why the right is becoming incapable of having an honest conversation about what its own leaders believe.
