Unattended retail lesson that cost me real money:
A stockout doesn't delay a sale. It kills a habit.
The customer just learns your market is unreliable and stops checking.
Fill rate is a retention metric.
I recognize and truly appreciate my loyal customers. Adding a birthday reward at our micro markets soon. Small thing, but it's the kind of thing a big vending company would never bother with.
New site's live. The homepage has a slider that tells you whether a micro market actually fits your building based on headcount — including telling you it doesn't.
Same logic we run before we quote anything.

Put the "we're going to tell you no" part of my sales process directly on the homepage.
Headcount slider. Below the floor, a micro market doesn't earn its space. Better to say it on a website than in month three.

Our government has operated like a trust fund kid that never had to earn a dollar, doesn’t understand the value of money, and therefore wastes trillions of other peoples’ money until someday the trust fund goes dry.
@DOGE operates like a fiduciary where every dollar matters, working on behalf of American taxpayers to do what’s best for the country.
Thank you DOGE.
@SleepyyMike@DVventures I’m a vending entrepreneur. Bad idea. Buying a vending route from someone else can be regretful if you do not know the condition of the machines or the sales velocity of the location. I recommend establishing your own route from square one.
@talkwithantonio@TwerkingElle As an vending entrepreneur myself, I’m gonna ask you a very FAIR question: Why is it up to anyone but YOU to get started on something YOU want?
