@delfender Ha, I'm no doctor! But, if its on one side, swollen, sour smell, affects voice and earache, and he's got difficulty swallowing, poss pain too, then it's a pretty good bet its quinsy.
I'd get him checked out asap tbh.
@delfender He sounds like a tough 'un, but yeah please absolutely still go, if only for piece of mind. Paracetamol will only keep it at bay so long, & if it is quinsy, the abcess will need drained.
Freeman ENT dept should be able to sort emergency app I think?
@decka1969 Class, get in!!!
My Dad watched it at mine, was one of the most amazing days ever...always wanted to be with him if we ever won owt, got to say I was a mess at full time! He was more controlled but definitely still misty eyed π
Enjoy it mate. Again and again!
@OldGilles I'm so sorry for your loss mate. From all you've said down the years, he sounded like a top bloke. Thinking of you and the family. Gan canny.
@23rodge @chrismorgan57 Exactly.
I mean...we all hope he'd stay and develop into a star here, but at some stage we know we have to lose a good youngster with potential to help pay our way (eg Citeh - Brahim Diaz to Real, or Cole Palmer to Chelsea etc).
@chrismorgan57 It IS a shame as I'd quite like to see him develop into a star here, but if it helps the squad as a whole, then it's got to be done. As Eales already explained..
@chrismorgan57 Exactly - it's how Citeh and Chelsea have done it for years, which now gives them extra wiggle room and funds to spend big on first team players. Buy 10 cheap potential stars, keep 2 or 3, sell the rest for high fees after good loans, with future sell on clause % etc in.
