The headlines today will likely be dominated by the woeful state of the economy, but look past those headlines and the NHS is in a critical condition.

Death rate in UK continues to rise at pace - worrisome. Early days yet but NI seems to be doing very well. Similar to SK. Well done NI! Really important to keep up this great effort - making a big difference and saving lives! IRE also doing well.
Prince Charles had mild #COVID19 symptoms by all accounts. Really glad he got tested so quickly.
Tens of thousands of NHS staff are literally putting their lives on the line, 24 hours a day, for people like us.
Why aren’t they being tested as quickly as the Prince of Wales?
Bottom line. Burn out directly correlates with intensity of work. Resilience training, mindfulness, peer support groups and so on, are irrelevant unless work load is sorted.
As a doctor I can confirm this is all 110% legit thing and in fact a great way of seeing if someone is telling the truth is to ask them if they are unable to sweat because of an overdose of adrenaline when they explain about how they recently regained their ability to sweat it’s
