@MartinSLewis@itvMLshow#MartinLewis Energy suppliers are setting their own economy 7 unit rates above the price capped rates because the Gov hasn’t explicitly set a capped E7 rate (BGas screenshot here). What can we do about this?
@MartinSLewis Hi, @BritishGas have confirmed that they are charging more for Elec Day unit rate than Government price cap because ‘Gov haven’t set an economy 7 variant’ of the cap - they due to charge 44p/kWh instead of 34p/kWh from 1st October. Is this true and why isn’t this the case?
@BritishGasHelp@BritishGas Gov energy price cap is 34.0p/kWh Elec & 10.3p/kWh inc VAT from 1/10/22.
Therefore why will your standard E7 variable tariff be Elec: Day 44.376p/kWh night 14.853p/kWh & Gas 10.309p/kWh inc VAT?
Elec Day & Gas unit rate are OVER Gov price cap rate?
@itvnews@Peston Any news on what this means if you’re already abroad and paid for LFT for Day 2? Private PCR or NHS PCR? When does it come into effect?
'Lost all faith' in your government @BorisJohnson. You love to talk about what 'the British people want', well, they want to get married and they want to get back to work. They want what they were promised come 21st June.

We love each other.
We love our family & friends.
We want to get married safely.
It is abundantly CLEAR we can do just that. @BorisJohnson@10DowningStreet remove wedding restrictions, allow us to test & show proof of vaccine @WAWofficialUK#whataboutweddings
Weddings cannot wait – 97% of couples and businesses say that the situation is impacting their mental health and it's made worse by insane guidance, lack of communication and your continual failure to follow through on your promises @BorisJohnson. We see you.
#whataboutweddings
Weddings cannot wait. Weddings are done with waiting. Couples and businesses have waited for 15 months and have been fobbed off, ignored and belittled. It's fair to say we've had enough @BorisJohnson.
#whataboutweddings
How is a football match allowed to go ahead with thousands of football fans, when a wedding (an important life event) can’t have unlimited numbers of guests? It’s beyond belief that some brides will get SEVEN days notice it’s not good enough and heartbreaking #whataboutweddings
Pretty sure we'd get @BorisJohnson's attention if we let him wander around a wedding in a high-vis jacket or smash through a giant wedding cake in a digger...
#whataboutweddings
Weddings cannot wait. Suppliers and couples cannot wait. We were told 21st June would see an end to restrictions and we've all waited, held on with everything we have, for that date. It needs to happen otherwise 150,000+ will lose their jobs within 3 months.

A wedding is a major life event, not simply a party that can be arranged in a number of days. I began planning for my 2020 wedding in 2018, now here I am 8 wks away from my third date still not knowing what I’m ‘allowed’ to do. #whataboutweddings@BorisJohnson
raise the limit on weddings, it’s a life event. Can have loads at a football match and only 30 at a wedding makes me so cross. Weddings don’t take days to plan they take years and you can’t not allow brides & grooms to have there special day. @BorisJohnson#whataboutweddings
Everyone at our wedding will be double vaccinated or have taken a lateral flow test. The reception is outside in open countryside. We would never endanger the health of those we love. Please let us have the freedom to decide
