Still learning with oils, quite pleased with how the grapes look. Using a palette knife is the next exercise...

I'm curious though, how long before these will be touch dry, my first doodles are still wet and I think it's been about a week!

I rely heavily on my partner for help (during mania it's difficult to persuade me to take meds/go to bed). I keep a daily mood diary & find being creative & doing exercise helps.

Ok, these are my first goes at the next exercises in 'Learn to paint in oils for the beginner'... I think you can tell what they are so that's something... So completely different to using acrylics, not sure I'm going to get the hang of this wet on wet painting. #art #painting

@HowlingBeast75 The book in the picture has been really helpful in terms of making sure I had the basic stuff, without spending much. I'm working through some of the exercises now. I'm really struggling not to touch them though to see if they're dry!
