@Frenchy_47@JackDunc1 Increased non-EU immigration was exactly what the conservatives wanted and their funders wanted; cheaper labour and lower taxes for capital interests. That's what Brexit was really about but it was sold to UK population as something else.
@BritainsRevival@Heccles94 Your politics are so contradictory. You don't want immigration but you cling to a system that, if it continues for decades more, will make immigration become truly in the tens or hundreds of millions as areas of the world become uninhabitable forcing people to migrate.
@simonmaechling@davieball I think it might be to do with all the extraction capital is currently undertaking, which is causing the collapse in western living standards and a cost of living crisis. Democratic institutions worldwide should have ganged up to restrain it years ago.
@HolyoakeJ14576@JonathanPieNews Farage is on the side of the rich and will help capital interests accelerate the UK's decline. And no amount of immigrant deportation will change that.
@StefanMolyneux Capitalism & AI are not compatible. All the suggestions being made are simply people clinging to wealth that will be destroyed by the mismatch. Any country with a large debt allowing AGI into their economy will implode it within 5 years due to rapid collapse in tax revenues.
@VladTheInflator Based on Robert Nozick's entitlement theories of: justice in acquisition and transfer, along with the principle of rectification, you can't lay claim to any of it. Only the indigenous people have a right to that land. It was never justly transferred so you have no claim to it.
@CelluloidBlonde@giraffeguy1962@NolanAnalyst What's the point in having a go at Nolan? At least he makes something that brings joy to people. Unlike people who own (or work) for private equity firms.
