I guess I’m just in “wait-and-see” mode with the move to Activision. I remember hearing some rumor/rumblings about it over the summer, so I’m not too surprised by this, but it definitely sucks on many levels.
I haven’t been on here in a MINUTE. But seeing all that’s happened with/at Halo over the past couple of days is disappointing.
On the one hand, I get it - Halo isn’t the hit it was at its peak, but there was plenty of good created by those folks. Obviously wishing them the best
All that to say, I’m a glass half-full kind of guy, so I’m obviously looking at what I perceive to be the good things brought to the IP from 343/Halo Studios. Again, I wish them the best and really do hope they find work and solid footing.
this answer was really interesting to me.
Pegula is saying talent is the reason why Buffalo has been so successful but then adds how practice squad players were making an impact.
that to me is more a compliment to the coaching
Bills are coming across so thin skinned. I dont understand why they just dont say it was a bad finish, they thought the roster was better than where they landed record wise and thought a new voice after all of these years was needed to maximize their chances
@LordCognito 3. running 11 personnel like previous seasons. Cook was doing his thing. Defense just didn't get enough pressure on 15, like every L they've taken from them, and losing Benford early absolutely changed things for them on the backend. Definitely sucks a bit more than recent years.
@LordCognito 2. patient, changing calls at the line more frequently, taking the checkdown/"layup" when it makes sense and not going for the kill-shot every time). They also got to the point they could win with a more unpredictable strategy on offense and not just running 4 verts or only
