Fabulous day's cricket at @LittleMarlowCC, where we defied forecast to play @refresherscc. Authors needed 10 off last over & fell short, despite heroic 100 from @BeardRichard. @RathbonesGroup moment was @M_H_Taylor's wicket to break @nicholas_hogg's record of 43 in season.

Thrilled to see Pathum Nissanka batting so well. We toured Sri Lanka twice (2014/16) & met this diminutive batter with incredible technique. (We were asked if we could provide him with some kit too.) Wonderful to see him playing for Sri Lanka in all 3 formats a decade later.

A superb game of cricket at Falconhurst today. Refreshers managed 143 after a sticky start (Cannon 54, Law 37*), and Falconhurst chased it down with an over to spare on a glorious day in Kent. Highlight was a c. son b. father from the Baloch family.
