@stevemarkperry@kepano@obsdmd iA Writer and Bear are native and limited. Obsidian is Web tech, with limitless customization, but slower. No matter how much one improves speed, they cannot be the same. All three are made by small, passionate teams that focus on very different use cases, connected by markdown.
@audreyt@in_somewhere Is there an English translation? I had a look with auto translation. Would love to see a version for an international audience, even if it is AI translated. :)
What is more calming than looking at type from close? Riding the Tokyo Metro line? How about doing both at the same time?

With iA turning 20 years in 2025, as a tribute to our roots in Tokyo, we’re launching a new Tokyo metro audio series.
Google and Apple split the cake between each other, and don't leave much choice to devs or consumers. We strongly support the EU's work against anticompetitive behavior of both companies. Apple's control over its affluent demographic is cool for them, but bad for everybody else.
@jordibruin This is not the logical flex you think it is. iA Writer has 10% piracy on macOS. I don't mind 10% piracy. We have no reliable number on iOS, but it's not 0% either. The problem is how easy it is, but the platform culture (Google's free culture, app reset) and its demographic.
