NEW: Democrats are asking a federal court to order the Trump administration to disclose the status of its work on its anti-mail voting executive order.
They are accusing the administration of hiding efforts to implement key parts of the order before the midterms. https://t.co/z74QVmbcTT
Trump has illegally been conducting military strikes in the Caribbean and the eastern Pacific for over a year, killing over 225 people.
These extrajudicial killings will go down as a moral stain on our nation's history.
The Trump administration must be held accountable.

Seems like a lot of competition—except that every one is owned by Kroger.
Now Kroger is trying to buy another: Giant Eagle.
And when competition dies, you pay more.
Apple-picking season starts tomorrow @ButlersOrchard. It could also end tomorrow.
A devastating spring freeze wiped out nearly every apple variety at the popular Maryland farm — and it’s far from alone.
Why local apple season will be scarce this fall:

Attorney General Todd Blanche was on Fox News last night railing against "Secret School Gender Transitions," which Blanche described as a "pandemic that's happening in some school districts around the country"
Trump is threatening to starve poor children if state employees don’t participate in his mass deportation campaign.
So if DMV employees, teachers, and nurses don’t become snitches, the kids don’t eat?
This is sick shit, even for him.

Tomorrow, we vote on Mike Johnson’s amendment to BAN expanding the Supreme Court.
This amendment is an admission that Congress has the power to expand the court.
I will vote no.
Expand the court from 9 to 13.
The main reason so many Democrats voted against this resolution condemning DSA is because it also expresses support for Trump’s controversial voter ID bill and they saw it as a Trojan horse. If the resolution had just condemned DSA, many more Dems likely would have voted for it.
Springfield, Ohio -- Seven Haitians reported for ICE check-ins last Thursday. One was a woman who had given birth twenty days earlier and lost the baby. “She came to the office. She could not even walk,” he said. “But they put the shackle on her.”

AOC on Ballroom: You have everyday Americans, working-class Americans, they’re not getting a refund on the tariffs that they were illegally charged. Their health care subsidies have run out, so small businesses and everyday Americans are paying more for health care and their prescriptions than they ever have.
And we are sitting on money to be able to help everyday Americans, and instead the President is using it on his ballroom. And so I could not think of something more insensitive and insulting to everyday working people..
Trump's EPA has approved the use of a pesticide and known carcinogen, trifludimoxazin.
The forever chemical will now be used on corn, wheat, oats, soybeans, oranges, apples, peanuts, and almonds.
Last few days in Kyiv feel like a frontline city. 60+ hours of air raid sirens, explosions close by. 2-year-old girl killed in park. A cafe I go to badly damaged. Building next door on fire overnight.
I know it’s easier to look away. But for a second, imagine living like this.
If you were to list the top 1000 real problems in the United States, voter fraud wouldn't be one of them. It's not even in the top 10,000. Donald Trump made this up in order to make it harder for Democrats to vote and easier for Republicans to cheat.
Eleven years ago, I packed my life into the back of my beat-up Honda hatchback and drove into the scorching Chihuahuan Desert — deep into the Big Bend of Texas. I’d just landed my holy grail of a desert dirtbag’s dream job: getting paid (well, barely paid) to explore the winding canyons and towering mountains of Big Bend National Park, and write about it all for the National Park Service.
I left Big Bend after my season ended sunburned, exhausted and madly in love.
Big Bend showed me how wild and beautiful the borderlands could be. It’s the only place along the U.S.-Mexico border that hasn’t been overrun by militarization, because well, nobody crosses here. It's the last place where you can float down the center channel of the Rio Grande and drift between nations, looking up at the Milky Way in peace. Since then, Big Bend has always been my north star — it's fueled me to fight for a better future across the borderlands and across the desert southwest.
Now, federal contractors are coming in to destroy it all. They're ramping up plans to build walls across the region that would cut off access to the Rio Grande, and bulldozers have already carved permanent scars into the national park. We’re fighting like hell to save the wildest place left in the borderlands — and the wildest place left in Texas.
It’s a gritty, scrappy and beautiful movement, just like the landscape that’s drawn us all here. We’ve drummed up enough passionate resistance to stop the bulldozers in the national park — at least for now, but that "pause" is about to expire. We’ve got a damn long way to go.
What DHS, this administration and the federal contractors profiting from this destruction still don’t seem to understand is that every single person who lives here loves this place more fiercely than they could ever fathom.
We won’t back down. Not another foot of wall. Not another road carved through wild country. Not another acre sacrificed to enrich corrupt contractors.
Big Bend is everything. And we’re gonna fight like hell to keep it that way.
The Trump administration has approved the use of 2 chemicals in data centers.
The forever chemicals can result in "sudden death" and are linked to cancer, reproductive harm, eye damage, and neurological injury.
Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro says RFK Jr. reached out to him this morning and offered federal staff to assist after two unvaccinated people in Lancaster County died from measles, Pennsylvania’s first measles deaths in 35 years and the first reported in the U.S. this year.
Shapiro said the state could handle the response through its own Department of Health, then confronted Kennedy directly:
“I was very, very blunt with him... There’s real life consequences to spreading misinformation.”
“Sharing conspiracy theories and misinformation does not help the cause of public health."
Incredible! Now Trump is siding with big tech, and the billionaires who have been donating to him, to take away public notice:l on data centers:
“The Environmental Protection Agency plans to eliminate a federal requirement that states publicize and solicit public input on applications for air pollution permits for a range of industrial facilities, including new data centers and the power plants needed to run them.
The move could prevent residents from raising concerns about — or even learning about — data centers before permits are approved and construction starts.”

How are they supposed to pull themselves up by their bootstraps when they have no boots?
How are they supposed to eat less when they have nothing to eat?
How are they supposed to fill their car less when they have no car?
How are they supposed to stay healthy when they have no medical care?
How are they supposed to hope when we give them none?
