being both very prone and allergic to bug bites is a helpful practice in not repressing my emotions as I am currently experiencing irrational fury at texas summers
it was beautiful to hear a woman who spoke so profoundly into the church of my childhood reckon with the racism that is inherent to evangelism in such a humble & compelling way—it makes me hopeful that justice will one day be the Church’s holy emblem
just realized I’ve written all my seminar papers for the semester in british paper sized documents and am therefore tremendously over the page limit
am I experiencing reverse culture shock
writing feels like eating something weird from the recesses of your fridge and getting nauseous—you know you’ll feel better if you throw it up but you just can’t make yourself do something that horrible
anyways I’m writing this tweet instead of my seminar paper

Border patrol agents using whips against black people does not “need context”. It’s blatant white supremacy, anti-blackness, and the very expression of American hatred at heart of ideas like “borders” and “safety”. It is not just horrible—it completely disregards black humanity.
