@TwhitNub101 I kind of thought you were legit until "emotionally unstable nerds who probably like the smell of...".
If you really are legit, that was no good.
Anyway, kind of agree on some of the points, but hard to discuss with those comments thrown around
@DavidDeutschOxf My freest thinking is that we need LLMs that "play" with the multiverse fungibility so that they are determined in the multiverse but undetermined in one universe (like it would seem our own case is).
@DavidDeutschOxf 2. LLMs (current) technology is not enough because their outputs are and always will be pre-determined. So no matter how much complexity (scale), creativity can't emerge.
My freest thinking 👇🏼
@Patricksaltr Wouldn't "mining without a pool" be impractical? In the sense that they wouldn't ever get a mined block?
So Patrick, coming back to my question: do you think Bitcoin mining is centralized in practice? And if so, Bitcoin is centralized?
@MansiCodez@SolvoOps1 I think of it as just Decision making. AI does what someone asks. 1 Prioritization and 2 accountability are decision making derivatives: 1 is deciding what to do first and 2 is who decides. Your job is replaceable if your boss wants&can make the decisions.
@f2pool_wangchun @lopp@eric_lombrozo It's not for miners to decide. If majority of miners say no to users, users will fire them with a UASF or PoW change. That's the alternative
@btcfreedom23@bitcoin_gooose@LukeDashjr@denverbitcoin Interesting, I see your point.
Now my next question is:
if those pools decide to mine X rules, and individual miners want Y rules instead, they "could" switch in theory, but to where?
In practice, switching is only possible if there is a Y-rules pool to switch to, right?
@bitbybitbullish So, based on that bip110 live memo: if that 97.5% of hashpower is one entity, then the game is over, isn't it? And isn't that the case now?
I mean, I feel that we need something new so a chain can survive even if hashpower suddenly drops 97.5%. Gotta nail the incentives
@bitcoin_gooose@LukeDashjr@btcfreedom23@denverbitcoin Genuine ask: do you think that Bitcoin operational control is centralized in a few companies (miners)?
I interpret the bip110 issue as a revelation of just that (regardless of the actual bip110 details). I just got the memo "these 5 pools (companies) control the chain".
@ninfixed6 So, I believe in blake2b Bitcoin, and I want to support it both for contributing with a world in which a decentralized Bitcoin exists, and for the potential economic benefits of this chain bring successful. Any way to participate/invest in mining?
@ninfixed6 I'm one of those who don't have the mining equipment, who don't want to mine from home, but who believe that the bip110 issue was a revelation of legacy Bitcoin not being what we thought
