Everyone thinks jobs in PSBs are easy and secure, but the reality is very different now. People are breaking down mentally, and there’s no proper support system. HR is just on paper. No one listens until something tragic happens.

Staff shortage, long working hours, impossible targets… and instead of support, many employees are getting shouted at or humiliated by their seniors. No one talks about it, but it’s happening in so many branches.

Some senior officers act like they own the place. No empathy, no understanding…just pressure, blame, and toxic behaviour.

It’s high time to take mental health seriously. Not just posters and slogans..real action, real support.
And seniors need to remember: leadership doesn’t mean being harsh.
