With support from @RelabHS and technical assistance from @WHO, @MinOfHealthUg recently oriented all health management information system focal persons on new rehabilitation indicators. The indicators will improve data collection, decision making, and ultimately patient outcomes!
So interesting to know how stakeholders set goals for integration and improvement of rehabilitation services in their settings. Kudos @LocalMayuge@UniMelb

Yesterday, one of @MakSPH's projects, @ReLABHS_Uganda, hosted its partners @HopkinsINJURIES and funder @USAIDInclusive to discuss project progress. A lot was shared on ways to improve collaboration and scale with Dr. @cnalwadda representing the Dean.
The five-year Learning, Acting, and Building for Rehabilitation in Health Systems (ReLAB-HS) programme, funded by the US Agency for International Development, aims to strengthen health systems to meet the increasing rehabilitation needs of populations worldwide.
@RelabHS is working with Uganda to create and execute cost-effective health system strengthening, rehabilitation, and assistive technology treatments. Rehabilitation and assistive technology are integrated into healthcare at all levels.

Empowering local artisans to repair and maintain assistive products is key to #RehabforALL. ReLAB-HS Uganda recently held a training for 20+ local artisans and stakeholders from four districts to enhance access to quality assistive products. @WHOUganda@relabhs @USAIDInclusive

This session was the culmination of the @PhysioplusEdhybrid learning, and allowed attendees to participate in a spinal cord injury assessment simulation.
