Sorry, but what is the point? Hardware that no one can afford. Specs that are both overkill for the “agentic era” development and too far from user machines. Same fate as other recent dev projects like Volterra and Dev Box — irrelevance and abandonment.
Your code compiles. Your tests pass. And your app makes 20,001 database queries where one would do.
That's the N+1 problem — and ReSharper for VS Code now catches it as you type, plus four more Entity Framework pitfalls, each with a one-click fix.

@madskristensen@madskristensen I adapted my theme (at least the text color for classes, interface, enums,...) using the font settings (changed the color), do I still need this or should I reset these settings and start from scratch with the new system introduced in 17.8?

Updates to Visual Studio color themes and tokens makes it possible to personalize the IDE even more. Including the ability for a more accurate vintage blue theme. Check it out! https://t.co/eFKPlIaEYM
GitHub Copilot switched to token-based billing on June 1.
Devs are reporting costs jumping from $29/month to $750. Some saw $3,000.
Code completions are still unlimited. But everything else? You're paying per token.
Your GitHub Copilot just became a taxi with the meter running.

Hi, sollte nicht ab heute E.R - Die Notaufnahme bei Netflix in Deutschland & Österreich verfügbar sein?
Bei mir ist sie zumindestens leider nicht verfügbar (Österreich), bitte um kurz Info.
Vielen Dank
The problem is that applications need to use the OpenClipboard API to access the clipboard, which gives exclusive access. In other words, if two applications read the clipboard simultaneously, one is going to fail.
Quoting the official documentation: "OpenClipboard fails if another window has the clipboard open."
There's no perfect fix, most applications try to work around by implementing a retry logic, but even that can fail if an application keeps the clipboard open for too long.
This is the reason why I developed ClipPing. It displays a visual notification when the clipboard is updated, so you can know immediately if your ctrl+c failed.

I found a way to restore my default exception settings
using "await xecuteCommandAsync("DebuggerContextMenus.ExceptionSettingsWindow.RestoreDefaults");"
How to enable all exceptions with macros, is this possible?
There seems to be no command for "Set All".
