@ronmortgageguy Everything has a ceiling
Especially Housing😁
Seems Ontario n BC
Have bounced off a harder than glass ceiling.
On a slowing descent 🛩️
While other 8 climb up 🛫
Comfortably below the
Hard Ceiling.
@abctoronto_ Need more traffic lanes
Get rid of the Street Parking
That eats up a lane n slows traffic while drivers hunt for a spot n negotiate the parallel parking
@tony_tweets1@NokhaDakroub@NateForOntario He’s ambitious n liked well enough in Beaches EY to win.
Not sure he’s got that same appeal City Wide.
He may have no choice but to
Change Gears if Nate runs for Mayor.
He’s a long uphill battle to beat Chow even if it’s just them 2.
Whereas he’s pretty much a slam dunk as MP
@Eddie_Gravity@NokhaDakroub@NateForOntario Nate has to give up
Being Beaches East York
MP the riding Brad represents as City Councillor.
Might Brad then give up his
Mayoral bid to be part of a Carney Government?
@stevefleck@PrabSarkaria@fordnation@C_Mulroney Won’t take long for those few minutes to vanish once induced demand kicks in.
N all we’ll have is another clogged 4 Laner.
The Fate of all Hwys victims of their own success.
Sure this one will be successful as all the rest.
Jammed all day
@hardakeep@LifelibertyLisa It’s been clear for years in
With both Cons N Libs that
16+ n Landed Immigrants can vote in Nomination n Leadership contests
Including the shady victory of
Doug Ford over Christine Elliott.
That margin of victory was
Even smaller.
And was done online n by phone.
Back by popular demand, as written by Dr. Seuss
Oh Nate made a speech, and he made it quite grand,
About opening doors all across the land!
“Bring in more voters!” he proudly proclaimed,
“For democracy dies when the process is tamed!”
“Let newcomers join!
Let more voices debate!
The strength of a party
Is how we participate!”
And people arrived! Oh they came by the score!
Through every wide-open participatory door.
They signed up! They lined up! They came out in force!
Exactly, it seemed, on the advocated course.
But then came the counting.
The totals came through.
And somehow the outcome
Was not what Nate drew.
And suddenly now, with remarkable speed,
Participation had changed into something to weed.
“These voters seem odd.”
“These ones irregular.”
“These people suspicious.”
“These numbers peculiar.”
“The process,” said Nate,
“With dramatic appeal,
“May not have been proper!
May not have been real!”
Now voters blinked twice at this curious twist—
For last week these names were the names on his list.
Last week they were welcomed!
Encouraged! First-rate!
“Come strengthen democracy!
Participate!”
But once the same voters
Did not vote for Nate,
The chorus transformed into:
“Investigate.”
Oh the places you’ll go
When the ballots turn wrong—
From “Everyone’s welcome!”
To “Something’s gone wrong!”
So here is the lesson
For candidates great and small
Don’t beg for more voters—
Then scold them for voting at all
