RIP Chuck Norris. Legendary career in martial arts and film.
His fight with Bruce Lee in The Way of The Dragon (1972) is immortal. To pull it off in Roman Coliseum, story goes they bribed officials and snuck in cameras for 3 hours.
Two masters at work.
How is this not a whistle?
If someone did that to him, we'd need an ambulance on standby and a 5-minute replay review.
But somehow he can keep bullying young guys in front of the refs?
33 years ago tonight, February 4, 1993, Larry Bird’s #33 rose to the rafters of the old Boston Garden. He had announced his retirement the previous August, right after returning from the Barcelona Olympics.
🤯He walked off the floor with his finger in the air before the ball even hit the net.
With the game on the line against the Phoenix Suns, Larry Bird decided to have a little fun with his defender, Tom Chambers.
Instead of waiting for the play, Bird walked straight into the Suns' huddle and delivered one of the coldest lines in sports history: "The only white man that could ever come close to guarding me was God."
He then pointed to a specific spot on the three-point line and told Chambers exactly what was about to happen.
Bird caught the ball, hit the shot from that exact spot, and walked off the floor with his finger in the air before the ball even hit the net..
