@VerminusM โThe people who said they will recommend Bibi for the job won less seats than those who said they won't.โ
Thatโs true, but the same is also true of any other individual. Which means one of two things must occur: MKs change their minds or Israel runs it back.
No it is not! Any more than the existence of Muslim or Druze or Christian citizens destroys the claim that Israel is a Jewish nation.
Every single country has some notion of jus sanguinis. One of your rights as a citizen is the ability to pass your citizenship to your children. The enforcement of a countryโs core identity comes with its immigration policies.
I think Eisenkot or Bennett would demand at least a share in a rotational PM arrangement to join Bibi.
Suppose Bibi agrees to rotate with Eisenkot:
Likud + Yashar + Otzma Yehudit + Religious Zionists โ 60
Depending on the final tallies, they prob need one more to join. They could seek a defection from BโYachad/Yisrael Beitenu, or try to recruit another party in its entirety in exchange for major concessions
Thatโs one of the most retarded statements Iโve ever heard. I think I lost 5 IQ points from reading it. Because we have a court system in place to interpret the Constitution, that means itโs not in effect??
And no, defending the Constitution doesnโt mean agreeing with every individual clause. It means that, even if you donโt agree with the right to bear arms, you would oppose the government disarming citizens in defiance of the Constitution. If you think the Constitution is so flawed that it should be ignored (which appears to be pretty close to your position) then you shouldnโt come here. And if you do, you should be sent away.
To clarify I would not deport natural born citizens. But naturalized immigrants take an oath. If they violate that oath, they should absolutely be denaturalized and deported.
And that oath includes defending the Constitution. If youโre not familiar with that it says, feel free to read it.
@levine2001@captive_dreamer False. The U.S. has a defined set of beliefs (as outlined in the Constitution, Declaration of Independence, etc.), just not a defined demographic (race, ethnicity, religion, etc.)
@VerminusM You can oppose both, but that doesnโt make them nearly equivalent.
Arabs want to destroy the Jewish state and undermine Jewish security. Haredis are more โnon-Zionistโ than โantizionistโ - they donโt really care about anything outside of their own communities.
