Where science meets art, magic happens. Just as artists like @RickRubin push creative boundaries, scientists pioneer new frontiers. The Scientific Odyssey brings these worlds together - helping researchers tap into their inner artist to transform their approach to discovery.
The Scientific Odyssey is our signature course to help research and laboratory scientist increase creativity in their work and sustainability in their careers. Delivered in-person, on site by professional facilitators, the experience is unlike anything you learn as a researcher.
Class starts THIS WEEK and there's still limited space available! This is a special opportunity to take this course for FREE as we train our trainers before sending them across the country to deliver our program. Maybe you could join our team in the future or bring us to you?
We are hosting two special Train the Trainer sessions in January2025 for a few select #researchscientists and #appliedimprovisation professionals here in #austintexas. It's a free opportunity for people who want to deliver this work or be more creative in their work and life.
Which scientist would you most like to hear discussing their creative process? The Night Science Podcast is organizing a 'Listeners Choice' episode to talk with your favorite scientist. Link for nominations:

🔥The Night Science Podcast just received generous sponsorship from Research Theory who “foster creativity among scientists” & from IMI who “help people discover authentic educational & artistic content by supporting & spotlighting exceptional content creators” @nightsciencepod🙏
Thoughtful piece by my friend @elaine_sevier, exploring whether research labs could be better managed (and whether that would even be an improvement, given that good science doesn't seem connected to management practices): https://t.co/6nEsnmM8S7
New post on Research Theory's website on how management can be a cure or contaminant in research labs. Special thanks to @nightsciencepod for insight into how scientists think, and my own advisor @GordFishell for running an artists' colony, not a factory

I had the privilege of speaking on a panel at the @ICSSIConference this week and decided to do something a little different to share what we're up to! But I am glad that my first time leading an improv game was not a failure...

Make Science Disruptive Again! All graduate programs should teach the CREATIVE SCIENTIFIC PROCESS to help change the research system and increase the disruptiveness of science projects.

I wrote a blog post for Research Theory about how no really, we do know why science is getting less disruptive. Thanks for the inspiration @mbeisen@TheBrunoCortex@ItaiYanai! https://t.co/vKRFeMf9yE
