And we are talking about time here - it's 90 mins in Tokyo v/s 2.5-3 hrs in BLR from the posh area of BLR if you flight is in b/w 10 AM to 10PM.

@2faniG42069 @sambaarseparate That's the whole point. Mumbai's airport is in the centre. Not 20kms out of the city borders like bangalore. People living in HSR/Koramangala will have to travel 45+ kms which is just insane. Mumbai has moving traffic, while bgl loves to overtake and create nonsense traffic.

@iNikhilsaini @basant_kishor Note that this video is from a particular time of the year - saawan. All these devotees have walked 50+ kms to finally offer the gangajal. Managements has to handle inflow of lakhs of people everyday. Is there is a better way to handle this? - debatable.

@IndianGems_ Last year monsoon - my car's speed and ground clearance was just enough to get it's underbelly smacked and slip over the whole length of about 50-60 ft of a divider in this exact area. Had it been a low clearance vehicle, wouldn't have ended so well.
