That's the beauty of it bro, we study the source material, page after page, book after book... They won't even know we're actually larping...
And when the questions roll in, we use that knowledge to our advantage and we can keep posing like nothing even happened...
@PAHoyeck@PartTimePhilo Personally, I would actually swap Wittgenstein and Hume. I found the Tractatus to be a brisk, enjoyable, and utterly brilliant read. Whereas I found Enquiry to be a bit of a slog, even at its short length, even though it is quite insightful.
It's bad enough that they got rid of "scientist" (IMO because most orgs stopped pursuing fundamental questions and abandoned publishing). Now this. No respect for ideas, just grind and build until you keel over and die.
@AlenaShterenbrg@iScienceLuvr To note, depending on field- you can do research in government or industry, and a lot of those roles seek people with a PhD.
But typically, I would agree with you, unless your goal is to research, then it’s probably not worthwhile to get a PhD.
@Draven1895@testosteroneHAV 1. Depends on location
2. Depends on education level.
By median salaries, CNAs makes around $40K, an RNs makes around $93K, and a nurse practitioner makes $130K.
There’s a ton of different nurses by education and specialty so it’s hard to give a general salary.
@NazaniOfficial@BrandonLBradfor If a virus with a 40% mortality rate became a pandemic, there would be martial law (as a best case scenario) and forced vaccinations.
Either that or total societal collapse.
@MethodiusOrion@LotionDolphin@EndWokeness@nikicaga Code switching is done by every single person who speaks languages. How you speak to your friend isn’t going to be how you speak to your boss. People from bilingual households (in the US) often speak a different language at home than in public. It’s just how communication works.
@DJulio2332@HoyaHusky@notwhydeegee2 That and it wasn’t even cited properly, which was the hilarious part.
There’s times where the bible is a credible source (primarily Religion classes) but not only is it not a good idea to cite in a Science course, but if you’re gonna do it, at least cite it properly.
@_johnsonator@RishiJoeSanu@AaronSepulvedaC Yeah, I enjoy a good bit of his videos, and they can provide some interesting information/insights- but it’s really something you need to take with a grain of salt.
