Later, she scaled Everest on 18.05.2025 NPT. This was her 5th summit on top of the world.

On this day, 24.09.1975; a British expedition scripted history by scaling Mt #Everest (8848.86 m) via the challenging South-West Face for the very first time.

This is the old Tengboche Monastery taken in 1960s and 70s, it was burned down in 1989 and was rebuilt. It is surrounded by sharp snow-capped mountains and some say is like a "jewel in the lotus".
