Scoop: Far-left DC mayoral candidate Janeese Lewis George bought a million-dollar home in a residential zoning area in April after suggesting single-family zoning was a tool of “segregation”
Here’s a thought, how about you get your fat ass out of our pond that we just had to spend millions of dollars to fix after it’s been broken for years. This isn’t your personal dog park. That pond has exposed opened pipes on the bottom of it, the construction guy explained to me a week ago. They had to glue pebbles to the bottom of it to stop the skateboarders from playing on it in the winter and breaking the exposed pipes. Pipes that you’re now walking over. God, the entitlement of these people. #MeridianHillPark #DC
On March 25, 1634 - 392 years ago today - Catholics fleeing persecution in England landed on St. Clement's Island, Maryland and celebrated the first Mass in the English-speaking Colonies.
Here's their incredible story: 🧵🧵
DC has an actual poop river, six inches of ice on the sidewalks, and schools closed for 3+ days after a storm everyone knew was coming.
Kindly keep this in mind the next time you hear a lecture about statehood.
Walking around DC at night to see if it’s as safe now as they claim Trump made it.
No litter. No homeless encampments. No propaganda painted on the sidewalks. Women and couples strolling casually.
It’s safe.
This administration is amazing.
A lot of FAKE OUTRAGE over construction of the big, beautiful (and privately funded) White House Ballroom.
FACT: Presidents have been renovating and expanding the White House for more than 100 years.
In 1902, President Theodore Roosevelt built the West Wing .
In 1909, President William Howard Taft added the first Oval Office during a West Wing expansion.
In 1933, President Franklin D. Roosevelt added a second floor to the West Wing; in 1934, he relocated the Oval Office to its current spot, completed the East Wing, and built an indoor swimming pool.
In 1948, President Harry Truman began completely gutting and rebuilding the White House interior, preserving only the exterior walls.
In 1970, President Nixon converted FDR's pool into the press briefing room; in 1973, he added a bowling alley in the basement.
In 2009, President Obama upgraded the tennis court into a full basketball court.
Now, in 2025, President Trump has broken ground on a grand ballroom — modernizing the wing while privately funding the project.

This is what the lobby to every major transportation hub in America ought to look like: Clean, orderly, and secure.
It’s not a matter of capability. It’s a matter of will.

My son just got back from a Nats game in DC. He said National Guard was posted all over the stadium area and after the game, he heard people thanking the soldiers for being there. Ignore the leftist narrative. DMV residents are glad law and order has returned to DC.
